i am posting here a PDF of some physical exercises for the legs that exhaust the muscles in such a way as to induce tremoring. tremoring is practiced in order to help the body release from the muscle tissue the stress hormones it creates during traumatic events and hyper-stressful situations (injustice, violence, accidents, physical abuse, psychological abuse, physical trauma, war, extreme fear, etc). they are very simple and do not require any linguistic processing, which means you don’t necessarily have to engage with the narratives of your experiences in order to clear their physical effects. this means you can use them to address any trauma held in the body at all. they also feel really good, whether you experience milder or more extreme symptoms of PTSD, or are just feeling the cumulative effects of stress.
